YSL Le Teint Touché Eclat Foundation NEW FORMULA Review

It's no secret that I'm a fan of a healthy, dewy base, and when I tried a sample of the YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation I fell in love instantly.
About a year later I finally decided to treat myself with my Boots points and now I'm worrying about what I'll do when it's finished. At £32.50 a pop it's not something I'm gonna be buying willy nilly. I believe it's had a recent, slight change in formula with the addition of ‘catchlight technology’ and ‘anti fatigue complex' which promises to give the look of 8 hours sleep.

The foundation itself comes housed in a sleek, clear glass bottle with a gold lid and it comes with a pump (always a bonus). There's 22 shades available in the range, and I went for the shade BD30 Warm Almond, which is a pretty perfect match for me. It's really light in texture, so I tend to dot it all over my face before going in with my trusty Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I absolutely love the finish this foundation gives. It's so dewy and brightening, and I'd say the lasting power is fab, apart from needing a slight touch up of powder on my forehead at the end of the day. It's definitely a medium coverage foundation and it does a great job at evening out the skintone and covering any redness without the need for concealer. I usually just go in with a bit of brightening concealer under the eyes, but I could probably get away without it. It's a great all round foundation, so if you're after treating yourself to a dewy base, give this one a go!
